Richard L. Johnson is a Co-Founder and Operating Partner of CC Mutual. For the past 4 years he has also served as a Managing Partner of CC Mutual, a thesis-driven firm specializing in alternative areas with an emphasis in digital assets, decentralized technologies, and Web3.
While with CC Mutual, he developed a proficiency in evaluating business models and risk analysis that serves as the foundation for CC Mutual’s success.
Richard’s education includes an MBA degree from Lee Business School, as well as an MS in Management Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). His Bachelor of Science degree in Economics was earned at the University of Utah.
Jordan A. Pilkington is a Co-Founder of CC Mutual. For the past 4 years he has also served as a Managing Partner.
He has a demonstrated history of working in the venture capital and private equity industry.
Jordan’s education includes an MBA degree from Lee Business School from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology was earned at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
George Nelson is a Co-Founder of Nelson Enterprises and Nelson Capital.
For the past 5 years he has spearheaded his firm’s investment analysis division, driving annual returns in excess of 35%. His approach is a mix of fundamental analysis to find opportunities many others have missed, with a technical aspect to determine the appropriate timing of an investment.
Nelson Capital employs an opportunistic buy and hold strategy, attempting to initiate a position during a period of maximum pessimism and investing when positive catalysts present opportunities. The main portfolio invests in all assets, with current allocations in the traditional markets as well as the cryptocurrency space. Annual returns since inception have been in excess of 30% on the common stock assets and in excess of 40% on crypto assets.
George’s education includes an MBA degree from Lee Business School in Finance and Marketing, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Economics from Brigham Young University – Idaho (BYU-I).
George is currently a Level I CFA candidate and will be taking the computer-based exam in the fall of 2021.
